Let's talk about how Gwyneth Paltrow is my new BFF

I have to admit...never really been a fan of the old Gwyn til recently.

You know that part in Can't Hardly Wait where the popular girls console Jennifer Love Hewitt's character Amanda (the most popular girl in school....of course) over her recent breakup with Mike (the most dope guy in school)?



And they tell Amanda, "Anyway, who does he think is is? Brad Pitt? He is NO Brad Pitt!.....Seriously, and you're like Gwyneth. Totally Gwyneth! Totally Gwyneth, but prettier! Totally prettier, but with bigger boobs!"

Do you remember that part? Or do you at least remember when Brad and Gwyneth use to date? (Brad was slightly douche-ier back then.)



Anyways, I never understood that part. The whole Gwyneth comparison. Like why would you want to be Gwyneth? In 1998, I did not want to be Gwyneth. In 1998, I wanted to be Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Oh, but how the tables have turned. Ever since Gwyn did Oprah and convinced me to try her fitness guru Tracy Anderson's Mat DVD....



I want to kiss that woman. What a nice thing she did. How nice of her to convince me to buy Tracy Anderson's DVD. How nice of her to help me achieve my life long dream and new year's resolution of Terminator arms (it's one of like 15 resolutions this year).

Little side note about Tracy.

Tracy Anderson is a tiny sadistic angel from cute heaven. Her mat workout is no joke. Don't think just because you run five miles a day (ew, btw) you can take her on. It's tough. I've been using her DVD for over a month now, and I still can't always get through the arms section. An entire blog will be devoted to Tracy and how magnificent she is. But for now, we continue with Gwyn.

Oh my god.....I heart it so much. We have so much in common. We like ALL the same things!! Everything from detoxing diets to psychobabble.
